Lucia comes from Brazil. She combines in her work the world of abstract vases, organic materials and minimalist shapes. She draws inspiration from nature (stones, rocks, female shapes) as well as from primitive and abstract art. In her Paris studio, she creates works on the borderline of art and everyday objects. Hand-formed works are characterized by abstract, sensual shapes and expressive textures. Any imperfections and minor differences within the same shapes make each piece unique

Lucia uses chamotte clay from France or Spain, and the glazes are the result of her personal research. Inspiration comes from everywhere: shores, pebbles, feminine forms, but also primitive and abstract art. The intersection of different cultures fascinates Lucia. Its purpose is to bring with its pieces a moment of contemplation and reconnection with the earth.
